A dog of a different color

Well, our Cultural Scavenger Hunt is in its infancy as of this morning. We hope some of you were able to visit some of the venues on the map over the weekend.

We stopped by LoPressionism Gallery in downtown Melbourne to view the wonderful artworks and also to pick up one of the prizes for the contest: a signed copy of Ron Burns' book, "The Dogs of Ron Burns". This colorful artist has been featured on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition donating his time and artistic talent by painting a mural in a children's room. He has also been named the Official Artist for National Dog Day, and has recently had his artwork displayed in a major Hollywood film, Deja Vu, staring Denzel Washington and Val Kilmer.
